VGD(Varnarable Group Development)

This program has been running in Bochagonj Upazila under Dinajpur district covering
number of villages with a paramount goal to enrich woman status within the families and
also in the society. The women are neglected in the society. Many social obstacles,
misbelieves are embedded their livelihoods. Different category of offences against them
caused their lives miserable. Considering the above situation the Organization intends to
implement this program under the technical and financial assistance from Women
Welfare Department, Dhaka. The women are getting organized themselves, receiving
different skill development training as well as encouraged to saves money for undertaking
Income Generating Activity-IGA toward employment creation and future security.
During the reporting period a total number of 2258 families received different supports.
Now the women are very happy in their families.
